This material is processed and has to undergo several mixing processes to come up with the main mould. The main motive to run it through different stages is to increase the plastic and flow property of the rubber.

The semi-finished rubber goes into a vulcanizing machine where it will be pressure heated on a plate. The pressure heating is helpful in giving the desired shape to the rubber so that one gets the rubber moulds. There is nothing complicated or elaborate when one looks at the process of rubber moulding. But, only with the right machinery and technical understanding, it becomes easier to work on the procedures.

The process does not stop at heating. It has to be die-casted in the mould. Hence, the professionals would work on the transfer. The semi-finished rubber is pushed into the cavity with the help of the pouring system. As per the size, the pressure is plugged into the die-casting to get the shape that is required by the client. The casts for the dye is not like the regular ones. There are several technical features associated with them. In this stage of rubber moulding, the consistency and the sturdiness is thoroughly worked upon.

Within the moulding there is another type of the injection mould. Here, the base material used is the rubber but in its very plastic state. The only deviation in this kind of stage is the pouring system. Instead of regular pouring, the semi-finished rubber is poured through the system of injections. Such techniques are applied at times when the shapes required by the client are extremely complex. This process ensures that a precise mould is ready as per the specifications.

One of the interesting techniques applied in rubber moulding apart from compression or injection is that of the extrusion die. The main process is same that of any other processes but the measurements and the type of pouring varies in such stages. With the semi-finished rubber, the moulds are ready to be filled with the extrusion process. The tool is almost similar to the injection method but the process varies slightly. The best part of this kind of process is that it can ensure safety and stability of the material. Interestingly, with this method, the manufacturer can opt for the automatic production as well.
